Quick Start

Get NeatQueue up and running in your Discord server in just 5 minutes!

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure:

  • ✓ NeatQueue bot is invited to your server
  • ✓ Bot has necessary permissions (Manage Channels, Manage Roles, Send Messages)

Step 1: Create Your Queue

Choose the method that works best for you:

The easiest way - the bot guides you through each step:

/setup

Follow the prompts to configure your queue name, team size, and basic settings.

Option B: Quick Command

If you know what you want:

/startqueue name:"Ranked 5v5" team_size:5 number_of_teams:2

This creates a basic queue instantly with default settings.

Step 2: Test Your Queue

Enable test mode to verify everything works:

/test

Now click "Join Queue" and test the flow yourself! In test mode:

  • ✓ Timers are reduced
  • ✓ You can fill the queue solo
  • ✓ Stats are not affected
tip

Toggle test mode off by running /test again when you're done testing.

Step 3: Join and Play!

Once your queue is created, players can join by:

  • Clicking the "Join Queue" button on the queue embed
  • Joining a voice channel (if configured)

When enough players join, the match automatically starts!

Quick Configuration
