Channel Pool

If your server runs many matches per day, you may see one or more categories named NeatQueue Channel Pool appear, filled with old match channels renamed to NeatQueue Reserved Channel. This is expected and needs no action.

Why it happens

Discord limits how many channels a server can create per day. Every match creates its own text and voice channels, so a busy server can hit that limit and stop new matches from getting channels.

To prevent that, once your server has created 450 channels in the last 24 hours, NeatQueue stops deleting match channels when a match ends. Instead it moves them into a NeatQueue Channel Pool category and reuses them for the next matches, so it doesn't have to create new ones.

What to expect

  • Pool categories are hidden from @everyone, so regular members won't see them. Admins can still see them.
  • New matches take a free channel from the pool before creating a new one.
  • Once a day, NeatQueue deletes unused pool channels if your server is back under the limit, then removes any pool categories that are left empty.

Should I delete them?

No. Deleting pool channels forces NeatQueue to create new ones, which brings you closer to Discord's limit. They'll be removed automatically when your server's activity drops.
