/tempchannels type

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

(Default: Text Channels) Specify if the temp channels are threads or normal channels.

Usage​

/tempchannels type [type]

Arguments​

  • type: (Required) If the new channels should be text channels, or threads of this channel.
        Options: Text Channels, Threads

Details​

Configures how temporary channels are created on the server, selecting between standalone text channels or threads attached to the invoking channel. Useful for servers that prefer persistent category channels for structured queues or lightweight threads to reduce channel clutter; only administrators can change this setting and it applies to all subsequent temporary channels.

  • Manage Channels permission
