/startqueue

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

Starts a queue for the current channel.

Usage​

/startqueue [queuename] [teamsize] (numberofteams)

Arguments​

  • queuename: (Required) Name for the queue.
  • teamsize: (Required) Team size.
  • numberofteams: (Optional) Number of teams in a match.

Details​

Starts a managed player queue in the current channel by creating the queue with the specified name and team configuration and posting an interactive message that participants use to join or leave. Commonly used by admins to organize pickup matches, scrims, or tournaments — it enforces team sizes, can limit the number of teams per match, and automatically groups players into teams when the queue fills or an admin launches a match; note that only users with administrative permissions can initialize the queue.
