Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

Link your server to challonge using your username and api key.

Usage

/tournament account [challonge_username] [challonge_api_key]

Arguments

• challonge_username: (Required) Challonge username.
• challonge_api_key: (Required) Challonge API Key from https://challonge.com/settings/developer.

Details

Links the Discord server to a Challonge account by validating the provided username and API key with the Challonge API and enabling the bot to perform authenticated tournament operations for that server. Admin-restricted to prevent misuse; commonly used to centralize bracket creation, match reporting, and participant syncing, and important to ensure the credentials are valid and tied to the intended Challonge account since they will be used for all future Challonge interactions on the server.
