/spectatorrole add

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

Specify a spectator role which can join any voice channel.

Usage​

/spectatorrole add [role] (can_speak)

Arguments​

  • role: (Required) Spectator role.
  • can_speak: (Optional) Can this role speak in the channel?.

Details​

Registers the specified spectator role so members with that role can join any voice channel regardless of normal queue restrictions, and optionally grants them the ability to speak while in those channels. Restricted to server administrators, this is useful for moderators, VIPs, or event staff to unobtrusively monitor or participate in sessions without affecting queue order; note it does not override Discord channel-level deny permissions and should be used sparingly to preserve fair queue behavior.

  • A configured NeatQueue Staff Role
  • Manage Channels permission
