/tournament start

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

(BETA) Start the tournament.

Usage​

/tournament start (tournament_url)

Arguments​

  • tournament_url: (Optional) Tournament to start.

Details​

Starts a tournament by validating the provided tournament URL, confirming the requesting user has admin privileges, and transitioning the event into an active state. Once activated it queues the initial matches, posts start announcements to the channel and participants, and enforces BETA restrictions (admin-only access and evolving behavior), so invoke it when the bracket is finalized and ready to run.

  • Manage Channels permission
