/tempchannels slowmode

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

(Default: 0) Slowmode applied to temporary setup channels.

Usage​

/tempchannels slowmode [seconds]

Arguments​

  • seconds: (Required) Seconds a player must wait between messages (0 disables it).

Details​

Sets the Discord slowmode (rate limit per user) applied to each temporary setup channel or thread when it is created, so chatter cannot bury the voting menus while players can still post lobby codes. Accepts 0 to 21600 seconds (Discord's 6 hour maximum) and defaults to 0, which leaves slowmode off exactly as before. Staff are unaffected because Discord exempts anyone with Manage Messages or Manage Channel from slowmode, and the setting only applies to channels created after it is changed.
