/autoroles teams set

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

Give players on a specific team a role while they are in a match.

Usage​

/autoroles teams set [teamname] [role]

Arguments​

  • teamname: (Required) The team name the role applies to.
  • role: (Required) Role given to that team's players while in a match.

Details​

Maps a team name to a Discord role: whenever a match's teams are created, every player on the team with that name is given the role, and it is removed from them when the match ends or is cancelled. The name is matched case-insensitively against the team's display name (configured team names via /teamnames, captain names, or the default "Team 1"/"Team 2"). Set one mapping per team — for example roles "Red Team" and "Blue Team" for teams named Red and Blue. This can be combined with /autoroles teams temporary, which additionally creates a fresh temporary role per team each match.
