/channel restrictions

Admin Command

This command requires administrator permissions.

(Default: enabled) Sets whether created channels have restrictions.

Usage

/channel restrictions [mode]

Arguments

  • mode: (Required) If channels are restricted.
        Options: Enabled, Disabled

Details

Configures whether newly created channels are subject to access restrictions; when enabled, new channels are created with a restricted permissions template (limiting member access and enforcing role-based controls), and when disabled, channels are created without those constraints. Requires administrator privileges and is intended to enforce default privacy or open-collaboration policies. Changes affect only channels created after the option is changed and do not modify existing channels. Restrictions are applied differently per channel type: match text channels are hidden outright from everyone except the queued players, staff roles and spectator roles, while match voice channels stay visible to the whole server so members can see that a match is live, but only those same people can connect. When restrictions are disabled, both are fully open to everyone.
