/bot nickname

Premium Feature

This command is only available to premium subscribers.

Set the bot's nickname.

Usage​

/bot nickname (name)

Arguments​

  • name: (Optional) The new nickname for the bot, omit to reset.

Details​

Sets the bot's nickname for the guild by updating its server display name so the new name appears in member lists, mentions, and message author labels. Restricted to administrators, this is commonly used for branding, clarifying the bot's role in specific channels, or temporarily signaling status; note that Discord's nickname length and character restrictions apply and the change affects the bot's display across the entire server.

  • Manage Channels permission
